Venue #5: The Bowery Ballroom!

Happy Monday everyone! (Even if Monday may not be as happy for many of us. Haha.)

We hope you enjoyed checking out Arlene's Grocery. As a special treat this week, we're going to be sharing 5 different NY (and one NJ) venues from one club....Bowery Presents! We hope you enjoy checking out each venue and giving us some feedback. (Please let us know what you think, especially since a Bonnie Dune show on the East Coast is something many of us are looking forward to!)

So to start off this week's venues, check out The Bowery Ballroom and let us know what you think! Also, please don't hesitate to contact us at bringbdtoec@gmail.com with any questions or comments you may have. Enjoy the rest of your day!

History:

Bowery Ballroom:

The Bowery Ballroom, located at 6 Delancey Street, is a rock palace fit for any occasion. The venue has industry-leading sound and lighting equipment, generous bathrooms and green rooms and a bar on each of its three floors. The one on the downstairs floor, which has ample seating throughout, is large and U-shaped. The second-floor bar is in the main room, which has the stage—wide and open—high ceilings and pristine sightlines. The lovely mezzanine bar, sandwiched between private seating areas, looks out onto Delancey Street and is easily reachable from the wraparound balcony.

Bowery Presents:

The Bowery Presents is known for providing the best concert experience for fans and artist in New York City along with reasonable ticket prices. Michael Swier and John Moore have presented music at Mercury Lounge, The Bowery Ballroom and Webster Hall for 15 years. Jim Glancy, former president of the New York division of Live Nation, joined The Bowery Presents as a partner in 2006. The company then opened Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn in September 2007, Terminal 5 in midtown Manhattan in October 2007, and The Wellmont Theatre in Montclair, N.J., in October 2008. The Bowery Presents began booking Boston's Royale in Spring 2010 and will be putting on shows at State Theatre in Portland, Maine, later this year.
